We all drove to San Fran for a day. Two cars. Four kids. We all voted not to go to Chinatown. It's just a big headache trying to find parking...and all those hills!!! So we visited this area right below the Golden Gate Bridge, next to the Presideo. It was a nice walk right up along the shoreline. At times the waves crash so hard up against the rocks you can feel the spray. Then we found this short pier where a number of people were fishing. We saw a sea lion bob its head in and out of the water. Later we took a "trecherous" drive up Lombard Street (did I mention I don't like the hills) and down the crooked side...then on over to the Coit Tower. Many scenic sites that day. We got out of the city and headed for outlet shopping in Gilroy AND InNOut burgers. YUM YUM!
