Christmas Fun

Last week it was a Winterfest in Pacific Grove. The boys got to play with snow, meet a Snow Queen who was granting Christmas wishes, and enjoy some carnival games. I even got to pick out some yummy treats at a bake sale. (I really don't need any more sweets, but who can resist Christmas and gingerbread men cookies?!)

It was not the first time they've seen snow. Last year we went to a snow day event at Petco Park. Jonah was a little too young to enjoy it then, but Noah had fun making snowballs and sliding down a small hill. This year they are enjoying the snow together.
Today we went to a Teddy Bear Tea Party hosted by James' school. All the children of military families were invited to bring their favorite stuffed animals and enjoy refreshments, meet Santa Claus, sing Christmas songs, and see a puppet show. My friend noticed most of the girls brought teddy bears, but the boys had stuffed dogs. This is our friend Emma who we met when we were stationed in Hawaii; she was just a baby then.

Next week there's going to be a community tree lighting. More fun!

I love Christmas time!
