The "news" down here!

For the past few months I haven't regularly read a newspaper or watched local tv news. What a change from days dating all the way back to college. There's just not a whole lot happening where we are now. Got my reality shot when we turned the tv on recently at a friend's house in L.A. Top 3 stories: freeway shooting, kidnapping, and sexual assault. Sheesh!!!!! Talk about a news fix to last for a while.
