Summer is Ending But the Fun Never Does

Summer may be winding down and a new school year starts this week, but the fun never ends. Here are some random shots of what we've been up to:

The Red Robin mascot wanted to have fun too.

An afternoon of bowling. Gotta love the shoes!!!

The gutter rails are up but Jonah finds a way to improve his game. He got two spares. I think the final scores were pretty close.

A daytrip to Hershey Park:

We loved the Scrambler...

until the guys found the Mini Scrambler.

James feels left out...

Hershey Park is a nice amusement/theme park. Despite my brother's earlier caution that most of the rides might be too big for the boys, we were able to find a lot of things to do. Seems that each theme section of the park has at least three kiddie rides. (Uncle Simon and Auntie Ivy probably didn't notice because they don't have kids yet.) Height requirements are denoted by candy product names. The guys fell into the Recees Peanut Butter Cups (Noah) and Hershey Kisses (Jonah). So cute! We may not return to the theme park until next season, but there's always a return trip to Chocolate World, located just outside the main gates. Yuummmm, chocolate....

Back at home we are patiently waiting for Noah's bottom middle teeth to fall out; they are wiggling a lot. I could just yank it out, but he rather keep wiggling it with his tongue. Stay tuned...

And not to be left out, this is what Jonah would look like if he started to grow a goatee...just kidding. He scraped his chin when he raced up the steps of the back deck and is now sporting a small scab.
